Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop

Workshops cover the principles, ethics, and mission of Leave No Trace.

Workshops build awareness and promote interest in low-impact camping.

WWTA Workshops are free of charge and typically last one hour.

WWTA workshops are ideal for paddlers and paddling organizations.

Workshop Details

Awareness Workshops cover the principles, ethics, and mission of Leave No Trace. Shorter presentations introduce Leave No Trace and include a short question and answer session, as well as a discussion. Longer presentations introduce include the above, but also assist participants in future problem solving, using age appropriate experiential techniques. The goal of the workshop is to build awareness and promote interest in low-impact paddling and camping.

Leave No Trace educators from WWTA are willing to meet with groups in a variety of locations, from campsites to paddling shops. This workshop is FREE and great for leaders and participants of paddling camps, clubs, organizations, and outfitters.

Download the Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop Application and mail to WWTA

WWTA will notify applicant upon receipt of the application. WWTA will work with applicant to secure a date, time, and place for the Awareness Workshop.
