10-11: WWTA's autumn Camp-Over at Fort Flagler State Park CANCELED
17: OutdoorsFest 2011 - The Mountaineers will again be bringing the outdoors to the people with its Second Annual OutdoorsFest at The Mountaineers Program Center in Magnuson Park.
24: In honor of National Public Lands Day, WWTA will host a work party in the south sound, on Key Peninsula. Volunteers at the Maple Hollow Work Party will clear, level, and assemble three tent pad frames on this potential new Cascadia Marine Trail site. If you are interested in joining in, please email MapleHollow@wwta.org. Thank you!

13: WWTA's 2nd Annual Online Auction will begin! The entire auction will run October 13 through November 3! Stay-tuned for coming details!

25-30: The 2011 Greenland Week Kayak Festival & Competition - Hosted by Kayak Academy. Join in for a week of traditional Greenland-style kayaking lessons, demonstrations, competitions and social activities. Spectators are welcome, and the show is FREE to the public.

24: The WWTA office will be closed for Thanksgiving.

3-4: The 6th Annual "Deception Pass Dash" at Deception Pass State Park, Washington! Race day is Sunday, December 4th, and pre-registration is required.
